This shit was tough, wouldn‘t do it again. I had minimal climbing experience and finished in about 6 hours. I took my time. Not including pauses, the ride took me 3.5h (including downhill) On the last slide, you see a section that fucking gave me PTSD. I was almost back to the start, when i got hit with the hardest climb of the tour. I was tired to that also took me a while. Ended up missing my train because of that. It was fun though, would recommend. Location was Harz (Germany, Sachsen Anhalt)

I do variations on a local loop that range up to about 60kms with up to about 1400m climbing. I quite enjoy it, lots of exercise, lots of forest, lots of mellow single track and a few good descents along the route.
Off the couch though, if you are not regularly climbing, 1000m+ will certainly kick your ass 😅
