I bought this bike for $20.
It needs a new front wheel and has a broken shifter.
I haven’t found much about its brand and model on the web. Only know it’s Canadian and closed in the 90s.
I’d like to know more about the brand BRC and the model Super Sport, like the year of the bike for example.

Interesting! I don’t have any information but the lugs look pretty! Are the wheels steel or aluminum? What’s wrong with the front one?
BRC stands for Bicycle Riders Company. Some people think it stands for Bicycle Racing Company, but they were never race focused. They were a budget brand, always speccing the cheapest parts they could get their hands on. They made an attempt in the mid eighties to make some high end mountain bikes, but failed miserably, until they finally went tits up in the 90s.
What’s wrong with the front rim? Might need to be trued, but looks as good as the rest of the bike. Not bad for $20 especially these days.
