I was in Edinburgh in October 2001 for two weeks with the army staying at Redford cavalry barracks . I have to say I didn’t like Edinburgh at all depressing buildings horrible place. Sorry if I offended anyone but that is my own opinion. Maybe under different circumstances I might have liked the city. British Army Veteran.
