Contemplating purchasing a Trek Domane AL 4 Gen 4. It's currently on sale at my local bike shop for $1,672CAD (about $1,200USD).
I haven't had a road bike for a few years after crashing and breaking my last one, but have been using my hybrid a lot lately and miss the speed of a road bike. I'm not the typical cyclist type, I'm 6'2" and 235 pounds, but the bike is rated for up to 275 pounds,so I think I'm okay.
Any thoughts on whether this is a decent price and a worthwhile investment? I am struggling to justify spending so much on a bike.
