It’s been finally built by the kind kind man Tomaso at Konaga who put in a huge stint to get this bike ready. And I I actually don’t really believe that I’ve got this bike to be fair. I’m actually a bit blown away by the color in person is incredible. We’ve gone for like a kind of a crazy setup on the uh gearing and yeah, it looks ultra ultra aggressive. I don’t know if I’ve got no minerals to be riding a bike like this if I’m really honest, but we’ll check in later. Yeah, it’ll just be interesting to see what this bike is like compared to all the other bikes that I’ve ridden. I’ve got a C68 km at the moment which you’ve probably seen on this channel before. Um I’ve ridden SL7, SL8, uh Pinellas. Um so it’ll be really interesting to see what this like and maybe a bit of a comparison. We’ll see. Also, we ate an incredible, incredible pizza last night and Tomaso has actually previously taken me to this place before and it was incredible and it was once again incredible yesterday. Um, I’ll put the link to the restaurant in the description. Whilst you’re at it, follow the thing at this like the Avola Pizza with Lardo. I believe that’s how I’m pronouncing it correctly. The Italians can get me in the comments, but yeah, it was utterly incredible. So, in light of the new bike that is on the roster, we are going to go do a day of shooting in Lake Coma. I’ve actually never been to Lake Coma. I’ve been wanting to go for a hot minute. And yeah, we’re going to get a massive mixture of shots for not only myself, but for Honago. And hopefully we get some crisp crisp late como shots. But yeah, takes a bit of pre-planning. That’s what we spend this morning doing in this fine establishment for a Red Bull and the biggest bottle of water we can find. Huh? They’ve only got this flavor. That doesn’t like this one. Whilst I wait for my couch pepe to be made, I’m going to run you through this insane bike that I’ve got from Karago. I have got the Karago Y1 RS. I am a 172 cm on a very good day and I am running a small frame. We’ve gone for 37 12 cm wide bars. We have got some NV 4.5s on and they will actually get exchanged for some lightweights when they arrive. We’ve got some Pirelli P 0 Race TLR SLS for some premium grip on these corners, but I feel like uh we’ve been pretty blessed with the weather here, so that shouldn’t be too much of an issue. We are actually running a one by Sarram setup. So, I’ve got full Stram red on it where we can. We’re running a 1046 cassette on the back there, as you can see. And the chaining up front is a 50 to chain ring. And so quite honestly, none of these gears are actually going to get used in uh the crit. Not many of them. Maybe the bottom three because it’s pretty flat. But for climbing, this is really, really good. Like it goes uphill absolutely phenomenally. We also run Wahoo Speed plate pedals. Good ground clearance on them for crits. That is the bike check. The course that they’re riding around on the exterior of the Poly Techchnic University here. And I it’s quite tossy, huh? The main thing is just having the food digested. So, I’m eating a big meal plus 3 hours around about 3 hours before you’re on the start line for the crit. And that way it ensures all the food in your stomach is completely digested. I’d maybe have a gel with about 25 minutes to go before the start. We are here. We are off in 20 minutes. Let’s go. Heat.
