  1. I think you can do better even with a limited budget. Nothing scammy there. That’s a really old bike with some very weird things going on with that rear suspension set up. Literally have never seen that before and servicing that rear shock I’m sure would be challenging to put it mildly.

    Keep it simple and keep an eye out for a hardtail. Your budget will go further and it will be easier and more cost effective to service and maintain.

  2. Price is fine, if it’s mechancially sound you’ll have some fun with it. I don’t think your going to get much better then that for $250.

    That said, I’d rather have a similarly priced hardtail. Old full squish age like milk.

  3. Good price but if anything goes sideways with the rear suspension or front fork you’re going to have a real challenge finding replacement parts or getting them serviced

  4. Any advice to look for on a used hard tail? I know nothing. I know I would like to have disc brakes and that’s about it.
