  1. Sometimes retired racers would have a line of bikes made with their names on them. It could be that [Giannbattista Baronchelli](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gianbattista_Baronchelli) had a line for a while. If so, it would most likely have been a smaller line made at a factory that made other bikes, and would probably only have been marketed in Italy. So it’s not too surprising you can’t find anything. You may have to do your searches in Italian, and even then it might be difficult.

On the other hand, the seller might be wrong, or mispronouncing or misspelling the actual name.

I was able to find a few Baronchelli bikes ([1](https://www.subito.it/biciclette/bici-da-corsa-baronchelli-viterbo-472379044.htm), [2](http://www.lasoffiata.it/search_results.asp?a=BICICLETTA%20DA%20CORSA%20BARONCHELLI&b=Zelo%20buon%20persico&hID=625304), [3](https://www.subito.it/biciclette/bici-baronchelli-monza-274484451.htm)) , but none resemble yours or feature the same symbol. You might find something with further digging.
