I recently noticed my mtb freehub is getting a lot more weird friction so decide to take it apart. However I’m stuck here because there is no allen key holes. It is a shimano/sram freehub and the wheel is syncrose x25. Do I need to use 2 wrenches on both end of axle to twist it out?

Cone wrench
Loosen and take off the non-drive side nuts using a cone wrench and a 17mm wrench. Then you can pull out the axle from the drive side. Then to take off the freehub you will need a (11mm or so) hex wrench.
