I’m wondering if this basket and rack are something that is purchased as one unit or separately and then put together? Also, is the strapped on tan piece something you would have to make or is this a part of the basket? Any, and all hep would be greatly appreciated. TIA

The tan part looks custom. Probably pipe insulation underneath. The rack is Salsa but Old Man Mountain racks are much sturdier. The crate is not made for cycling. Just a storage crate bolted to the rack.
