  1. I watched a video the other day about feeding chickens the interior of the banana trunk. What they do is shave the trunk with what looks like a big peeler or and ice shaver. The resulting strands of banana tree core are mixed with grain and hot water and fed to the chickens.

    This was in Vietnam where I'm moving soon. I don't know what you do with the banana trunks but you might be able to feed it to your chickens.

  2. Not true about which ones give u bananas. We started with 9 banana plants . We have taken every single pup off the side. We now have over 400 plants and everyone has given us bananas. Don’t believe much I ever hear on YouTube or google concerning growing food.

  6. So you are saying when one tree grows then cut the bananas off and then cut the tree down the baby ones at the bottom grow more and you can do this over and over

  7. with certain banana species (like musa ice cream, which he doesn't actually have, that's a namwah) the broad leaved ones are sometimes the only ones to appear, and that's okay. they'll still produce fruit.
