Was looking at the race Max frame set and it costs nearly £4k, while in Europe it costs nearly €3k so what the hell is going on? It cant be tariffs as the EU would be affected too and the prices Im EU countries will go up, is the price so high In the UK because the brand is quite new here?

They’re hoping lots of people have money to burn. If 0 people buy them, the price will come down.
I know almost nothing about bicycles just lurking around, but according to my google search Racemax is an Italian company so why would the EU be affected by the tariffs? I’m guessing the tariffs in question are the US tariffs, which is pretty much an import tax that only affects US customers.
I picked up brand new Racemax full bicycle in the US for less than this, with carbon wheels, carbon handlebar and SRAM Force AXS groupset. £4K for just the frame seems like madness.
It’s made of unobtanium 😝
