I am working on fixing up my dad's 79 motobecane and tried to add this chain to the build. It seems to fit at first glance, but the chainring shifting sometimes misses and falls between the two chain rings. The chain also slips very easily on the rear cogs with any significant pedal force applied. The bike has a 6 speed sunrace freewheel and a sugino crankset. It seems that my bike's components are not compatible with this chain. What components would be compatible with this chain? I got it for a song years ago, but it seems this chain goes for upwards of $100 now.
