So, day one. Uh, there is not a lot of footage from this day due to the weather. As you can see, it was raining a lot. This is 80 kilometers of pouring rain. Luckily, I also still had my phone so we could continue. Okay. So, we found the sleeping spot. It’s legal. We have permission. [Music] Very nice. And we continue the second day still in Belgium. We will not leave Belgium for the first three days. But now the nature is already getting nicer. More trees, more space, a little bit uphill, a little bit downhill. And here we have a nice example of how I can never keep up with Robin. It started raining a lot. We’re finally there. Half kilome. We’re getting some food and we’re going to meet up with someone we got in touch with via an app to camp in the garden. like it. Like I said before, to find places to sleep, we were using this app called uh welcome to my garden. It’s people who just give up a space in their garden for slow travelers like cyclists, walk hikers and then you can just put up your tent somewhere. So it’s free and very nice of course for bike packing. Day three, Yahim is joining and we cross the French border. [Music] This is the next place we were sleeping at. We were sleeping inside of this little shed you see in the back. Next three days we’re cycling through France. The landscape doesn’t change a lot during these three days. It feels like we are cycling on the same road for three days in a row. It’s incredible. fully packed again. Now going to Strasburg. Where are we going? Strasburg. Strasburg. Sil and Silbach in Germany. Let’s go. Here in the yellow shirt, we have Christian Leeong. It’s a local farmer. We were riding with him for 4 hours. He’s around 70 years old, but still in good shape. He was doing 140 km a day. I knew that there So yeah, as you can see, pro tip for bike packing, don’t use Google Maps. Open that up. Remember the loazine [Music] [Music] Uh-huh. [Music] [Music] That’s so good. [Music] [Music] cleaning up all the I hate you. I live with none of it. We didn’t have a proper shower for a few days. So, yeah, you do what you have to do. Banana. Banana. Finally, we start to see some mountains. This day we are cycling along the Ben Sea. It’s a big lake along the border of Germany and Switzerland. So from here on the trip starts getting really beautiful. The nature is becoming better and better. What? Ding in the leer barbecue. Robin woke up from something nibbling next to his tent. That’s why you Keep it low. And please [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Mir, why did you choose for a passport tent? because it will keep us dry tonight or not or not. And then we are soaking wet. We will see. See you in the next episode. Please subscribe. Like my channel. See you tomorrow, guys. This yellow arrow that I very professionally marked on the map shows where Robin is going to Bzano to in Italy and Yim and me are going back to Zurich in Switzerland where we booked the Flicks bus to Brussels I believe. Yeah, it was €40 all the way from Zurich to Brussels with the bikes on the back of the bus. [Music] Hey. [Music] Hey. Hey. [Music] What would look like? Day 11. This is already the last day where we make a long distance because on day 12, the last day we just explore Zurich, look around in the city and then go home with the flex bus. [Music] Hey my Hi guys. And that’s it. Here we take the bus and go home. See you in next episode. Please subscribe, like my channel. See you tomorrow, guys.
