  1. You need a dork disc, some reflectors, and one of those little red things that stick out the side.

  2. Idk what the general consensus is for these, but I have 2 fidlock bottles on my Tarmac and its amazing. Super sleek, super easy to use, no fiddling around to put the bottles back. Might just be a skill issue on my part though… Your bike looks cool! Seems like my future (far future) dream bike! Enjoy it!

  3. Varia radar is a game changer for road. Get the new Garmin edge computer to connect your power meter and radar to. Front light is nice also, and Garmin has one that will adjust brightness based on speed. But that’s a little overkill tbh unless you just wanna.

Radar for sure. I updated my old Garmin 800 to an Edge Explore 2 with a Varia 515. I’m really pleased with the function of both. If you don’t have a power meter they can be fun to correlate HR, perceived exertion and power on your rides.

  5. Is that saddle good for you? If it came with the bike, I suggest maybe getting one that suits you better.

  6. Sweet. Very smooth lines and classic color.

Some have suggested a bike computer. I used these for years but I have switched to a gps watch that also gives heart rate. I’m using a Suunto Vertical. In bicycling mode, the watch reports everything on a single screen: instant and avg speed; distance; elevation and ele. change; time riding, time of day, and heart rate. Other data are deeper. The watch downloads to my phone app, wh/ accurately displays the route on a map and reports tons o data. The thing even has a “bread crumbs” feature that shows the way back home. Only complaint is I can’t see pace at a glance.

  7. New wheels, new caves, new ceramic speed bearings throughout, new ceramic speed overaized pulley wheel.
