
This is one of the best things to do on a bike, IMO – riding a trail blind and having to figure out where the hell it goes, while staying upright, fully immersed in the puzzle solving of the moment while picking a very thin line.
Especially when it's relatively remote, raw/primitive/very narrow/sidehill in parts/exposed in parts, and on the steeper end of the spectrum(dropping 3,267' in 4 miles).
I heard about this reopened old miner's route in May, but it was still snowed in up top. Finally made it up last weekend and it did not disappoint. 10/10, would ride again.

I’ll never understand folks fiddling with GPS mid ride. Either plan it out in advance or send it like you are on whatever trail catches your eye.
