After spending hours and hours applying the protection film set to the brand new frame (and having sore fingertips from trying to squeeze the air bubbles out 😅), I finally got a chance to take the bike for its maiden trip.
​This is my first gravel bike after riding almost 10 years with an aluminum frame full suspension MTB and I love how effortlessly it rolls but is yet also comfortable on rougher roads.
​Only issue I had so far was that despite multiple tries I couldn’t pair the ECLIPS system with my phone to see the battery status (support request sent to Canyon). Otherwise the lights seem to function as expected and front light is good for the late evening rides in autumn.
​Fidlock frame bag didn’t seem to first snap in place properly, but then I noticed in the box there was also an additional plastic bag with four small washers and instruction paper that those should be fitted under Fidlocks. That did the trick and bag snapped in place properly. Bag seemed to be surprisingly spacious, at least with frame size XL.
