Yorkshire Dales Cycling – day 3

This is day 3 riding of the Yorkshire loop starting from York into the Yorkshire dales. This is the 3rd leg from Horton In Ribblesdale to Bingley via Settle, Barnoldswick in Lancashire and the Leeds Liverpool Canal via Skipton to Bingley

[Music] well Sunrise we cting about today cuz it uh going to be absolutely honking it down with rain later on this [Music] afternoon just in case you ever wonder where your Limestone comes from pant in the clouds this morning well to [Music] settle I love cycling could have been cycling up on the a65 which would been Madness it’s just a busy road that goes from the Lake District back down into West Yorkshire so I’m using this road um which kind of parallels it a little bit of a detour but at least it’s dead quiet that’s looking back down into the Ribble Valley where I’ve just come from right one the leads Liverpool Canal at bar Oldwick going to see if I can take this now all the way into Skipton well I think the bike’s a bit happier now that it’s on this grably poop well get a bit single tracking in places as long as I can get through to Skipton I’ll be a happy puppy I think hopefully it’s the hills ticked off for the day well if after a day’s riding along here you get home and you discover a couple of lumps underneath your ears don’t worry it’s just your testicles although for you ladies I don’t know what your excuse would be well see a 59 going across the top here that’s an unusual uh Bridge construction well a new Valley airdale so still following the um lead Liverpool Canal have a late lunch in and should be with John and J somewhere between 4 and 5 and if I’m lucky I’ll stay ahead of the weather that’s coming in h [Music] [Music] well this is the last of the rough stuff for this journey once I get to binglo even well before it it will be our smooth tracts all the way so this is it about 9 mil to go I’m at John’s Jo this place andent so you no idea who’s yeah any okay by by hey how you doing how you going to say hello to your guest who’s that me you on [Laughter] video no Jesse dude come in come in come in my guest I am honored to have such a a learned cyclist I’m going to stop this recording now
