hi guys and welcome to the channel today we’re exploring eastborn and surrounding areas and things to do so join me as we check everything [Music] out the first stop of the day is the Berling Gap car park uh which gives you direct access and Views to the beautiful Seven Sisters Cliffs you do have here which is probably one of the most picturesque places you can see in England the Berling Gap car park is free for naal trust members to park in and I’ll post the address details below make sure to enjoy the stunning views from this area and walk over the beautiful Seven Sisters or towards eastborn for great views one place I definitely recommend coming up here is the head Restaurant and Pub it does some really delicious food so definitely check it out in this area so guys we just parked in the beachy head Pub car park because it’s free and now we’re heading off to the beachy Head Lighthouse which is just down there probably about a 20 minute walk so I’m going to go down there next and get the Drone up there’s only 8 mph winds here today so it’s sunny I think we’re going to get some beautiful drone shots for you guys Beach head and the surrounding area has some great areas to cycle if you’re on a road bike or a mountain bike there’s some great paths to follow [Music] here so guys we just made it down to the bottom of the cliffs where the lighthouse houses are so that one just there that is the Bel Lighthouse it’s a B&B which you can stay in I think it’s around 200 a night and we’re going to show you the beachy Head Lighthouse which is in the sea as well so I’m going to get the Drone up and enjoy the footage [Music] well guys I hope you enjoyed that walk down to beachy Head Lighthouse and the belt out Lighthouse probably took about 20 to 30 minutes to walk down do about the same time to get up it’s a really nice area to have a walk as I say park in beachy head car park for free car parking next probably going to head down get some more views of eorn going to go around the pier and maybe the art gallery in town and show you a few other things all right let’s go be sure to stop off at he brow to get great panoramic views of eastborn next I stopped off at the Helen Gardens which is a really beautiful area to relax in you’ll find a really nice cafe here and you’ll get great views of the surrounding sea [Music] after this I drove to slyy road which is near the seafront to park up and explore the rest of eastborn so I’ve just parked at sidley Road guys it’s fre on street parking I’ll post the post code details below I’m going to have about 10 15 minute walk along to the pier now go on that and have a look around eastn town center and maybe the art gallery too all right let’s go and have an explore shall we if looking for a bite to eat the beach deck on the seafront does do lovely food as well as having a beautiful sun deck to relax on I then walked along the seafront and passed the readout Fortress which is currently closed at the [Music] moment I then made my way along the seafront passing the many hotels they have in the central area [Music] after walking a bit further along I went on the East borwn Pier which is free to enter on the pier you will find some really nice shops arcade and Amusements to entertain the whole family I decided to get the Drone up to show you this magnificent pier and the surrounded seafront area in all its beauty just going to give you a little bit of history about the pier next so the pier first opened in 1872 to the public of 2009 it is listed as a grade 2 listed building the pier suffered catastrophic damage in July 2014 when the arcade caught fire on the front of the pier this area has now been fully reconstructed and fully restored next to the appear on the sea front you’ll find the carpet Gardens which is a well cared for Garden at the heart of the center of [Music] eastor further along the sea front you will find the band stand which is under renovation at the moment and it has hosted many outside concerts 10 minutes walk along the seafront you’ll also find the wish Tower built around 1805 for The Invasion From The Sea by French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte you’ll also find a lovely restaurant called Bistro Pierre here too the sea front next to it also gives you sweeping views of the South Downs and the cliffs I carried on walking along the seafront for another 5 minutes more and I passed a Grand Hotel here in eastn it’s a five-star hotel and has indoor and outdoor swimming pools you can also go in here for afternoon [Music] T2 after this I then pass to Winter Garden which hosts various events The Coffee Lounge of faboloso is a really great place for food and ice cream and I definitely recommend it in this area you also see the tennis Stadium which hosts annual eastn Open tennis tournament after this we made our way to the town Art Gallery which is free to enter inside you will find a very nice cafe as well as interesting pieces of art the top floor did have an exhibition on which is a separate entrance fee to view do allow a good 30 minutes to 1 hour to have a look [Music] around near the town of Art Gallery you’ll find the demure Park Theater which hosts various pant mines and musicals throughout the year [Music] after this I walked up the road to the main area of eastborn and passed the beacon shopping center inside you’ll find many shops and restaurants as well as a [Music] cinema next to it you’ll find eastor train station which you can use as an entry point to the town on the weekend it looks like there is now an outside market for things you can buy such as various items and food after this I took a 20-minute walk back to the car while soaking up the lovely sun eastborn is known as one of the most sunniest places in the UK it often has more than 500 hours of sunshine more than the UK average I then started walking back to the car from the town center and passed another great restaurant here called The Glass House if you’re looking for food and somewhere nice to sit outside it certainly looks lovely [Music] hi guys I hope you enjoyed eastborn Town Center the pier and everything else we saw in the town Art Gallery I’m going to head to Sovereign Harbor next and probably princess Park to have a look around so let’s do that let’s go hi guys hope you’re well we have now arrived in sov Harbor I parked in Martinique way so it’s free on the street parking I’ll post the post code details below so we can look around the Sovereign Harbor in eastborn we’re going to check out a couple of the Martell Towers here there’s one right behind me so I’m going to get the Drone up show you that I’m going to show you this beautiful area of sovereign Harbor this martelo Tower is one of the three located in and around this area The Sovereign Harbor area combines a mix of Residential Properties and Commercial units with many restaurants and shops to spend your time in around the sandbanks near the harbor at certain times of the year you often find a group of seals resting and enjoying the area the harbat also offers many boat trips you can do which include beachy Head Lighthouse and seeing the beautiful Coastal Cliffs they have in the area [Music] Sovereign Harbor also consists of the crumbles which is a retail Park in here you’ll find things like Matalan and Asda Supermarket Smith’s toy store a mountain Warehouse TK Max and a whole lot more for all your shopping needs in the area it’s really great that it also does have a free parking too [Music] moving forward I then parked near colinwood clothes and I had a nice walk around princess Park it’s really nice park to walk around for a walk and it has a nice little Lake in it too [Music] another great Park here in East por is handen Park there’s lots of really nice streams around and paths to walk around too you’ll find a beautiful Lake here to see with lots of birds Ducks swans and what have you and do keep on eye out for the cheeky squirrels too [Music] a [Music] a few bonus mentions of things to doing 10 to 20 minutes Drive of eastborn first off is py Castle which is a beautiful castle to see in this [Music] area also very near it as well within about a 10-minute Drive you’ll find the equally stunning hmon zooo Castle [Music] and lastly about 8 mil from eastborn you will find dreel Park Zoo it’s full of great animals to see from sloths to lemur to Penguins Mir cats and a whole lot [Music] more well guys that is our eastn tour done and dusted I hope you enjoyed everything we did today don’t forget to like comment and
