So, first things first, welcome to my YouTube channel. This is the first video hopefully of many because in the next few weeks, I’ve got a few weeks to turn this bike into a mobile DJ rig that’s going to hopefully take me all the way to IBA. So, as I said, we’ve got a few boxes, stuff we’ve got to fit, and we’re hopefully going to put this on and turn this whole thing into a mobile DJ rig. So, stay tuned and follow the journey because on the 10th of July, 2025, I’ll believe in the UK. Well, I believe in Birmingham actually. 5 days in the UK, another 10, 12, 15 days in France, 10, 12 days in Spain as well, and then across to Iba. So, I’m attempting to be the first person to simultaneously cycle and DJ all the way to IBA. So, let’s get started on this. Right. So, to start, I have got a couple of yoga mats. And because of the vibration that’s going to go through this, it’s all sticking up. Great. Got to seal that down. But yeah, all because of the vibration that’s got to go through this, I’ve got to make sure it is properly cushioned out. So obviously this will absorb some of the uh the vibration that goes through and then obviously we’re going to build a a tray here to put the decks on and then obviously the speakers and the batteries and everything that’s going to go in there. So let’s get cracking and let’s turn this into a mobile DJ rig. Right. So as you can see on the video that mat that I put in yesterday is a little bit creased bumpy. So, I think it’s slightly big for the tray, but I need to somehow secure it down. So, I’m going to put some double-sided sticky tape under the bits that are bumping. And that should should, he says, should seal it down a little. There’s going to be things on top of that as well. So, it can be a little bit. It doesn’t have to be completely flush. Find my double start sticky tape now. [Music] It’s all kicking off. [Music] I have created the base layer and yoga mats and then I put some dampeners in. Not the neatest. I’ve got to go around them and sort that out. put some dampeners in because this is where the tray is going to go for the decks and they’ll be about here in front of me obviously as I’m sitting on the bike. That’ll be there right in front of me. But yeah, so we’re getting there and my phone’s going off. Brilliant. Woo! It’s hot today. Right. So, back in the garage and just put the truck away for a bit because I am on the way to get the van because I’ve got a promo shoot, promo day tomorrow at West Bromian Football Club. So, I’m on the way to get the van for that. But, yeah, as you can see, I put the the tray on now. It’s not connected yet. It’s not bolted up yet, but it’s getting there. It’s getting there. And I’ve put it on the rubber dampeners. I don’t if you can see them in there. Oh, it’s a bit dark. But yeah, put them on the uh on the dampeners. So, should absorb the shocks off the road cuz I say it’s a 15 mile 1500 mile journey to IBA. So, we’re going to go and put the decks on and put the controller on now. Got the wires. Got the battery. I’ve got an Eco Flow River 2 all charged up. Got a speaker. We’ve got the EV. Got the EV verse 8 speaker. Sorry, my door is in the background. So, yeah. So, I’m going to put these on now and uh get it get it going a little bit and uh see see what we can do. So, yeah. So, the next thing I want to go and get the van and get ready for tomorrow. Just as well while I’m doing this video, if anyone thinks of any better ways of doing things or things I’m doing wrong or could be done differently, just like honestly just pop up in the comments and let me know. Good morning. Good morning. So today we have a promo day at West Bromage Albin Football Club as we are raising money for the Albian Foundation on this trip. So the van is loaded. There you go. The van is loaded. the trikes in there, all the accessories, all the little bits. Going down to Gloucester first to get a little bit of it finished off with a friend of mine called Dan. Dan the man and I have the van. So, let’s go. Thursday. The weather, it’s not too bad, actually, to be fair. It’s all right. It’s nice and warm. It’s 8:00 in the morning. Let’s go. Honestly, right, I am soaked. The weather down here, well, I’m in Glouester now. was in Bristol before. The weather is terrible, but there’s an M&S and I do like an M&S. So, I’ve got gone and got myself New York Deli summer berries drink and the old faithful woohoo McCoys that I’ll do for lunch. But yeah, off to Glouester now. Took down to Bristol. just dropped something off off to Gloucester. Go see Dan. Dan the man. I’m in the van and um yeah, we’re going to get the we’re going to get the camera pole put on the trike. We’re going to do a couple of little bits on there and hopefully get it to an to a point where I can start riding around and and live streaming. So, yeah, hopefully big day. Honestly guys, this is an absolute nightmare. It was lovely yesterday. As you can see, I was out in the garden doing some work on it, and now today it is shocking. So, God knows how this is going to go. It’s not a regular thing. Right. So, just done the little promo afternoon at West Bromian. So, that’s another thing ticked. Another thing ticked off. So, we got to get home now, drop the bike off, get this van back, and then we got to finish the bike off. We got a couple of days to get this bike finished. Anchor, please. Can we do it? Of course we can. Acceptable. Let’s go. Okay. Come on. You okay? Yeah. We haven’t got time. Oh Come on. See, always getting moaned out. Come on. Cuz you’re always late. Right. Good morning. So, it’s day three of sorting the trike out to get it ready to go from the UK to IBA. And yeah, we did the promo day at West Brom yesterday. I didn’t get much footage. I didn’t get any footage of me and Dan working on the bike because it was absolutely pouring it down. Like honestly, the weather in the morning was great. Get down to Bristol, it’s pouring it down. Glouester is pouring it down. It’s just like I just needed to get in, get the bike into the into the garage. It was it was a nightmare. Honestly, nightmare. Then we got back to West Bro and it was sunny again for our for our little promo afternoon. So, but yeah, today hopefully complete getting things sorted on the camera pole cuz I really need that camera pole up and then we can get um we can get sorted to uh to try and bolt in the rest. I’ve got the glow bolts coming tomorrow. So, yeah, it’s getting there. It’s getting there. Morning. Morning or afternoon actually. it. I’ve lost track of the days. Right. So, we’re on the build again. And this time, I’m putting some dampening between the tray that’s going to house the decks, which ah Jesus. Hot. So, yeah, it’s a very, very sunny day in the UK. Very, very sunny day, which is quite rare. So, this is the tray that’s going to house the RX3, the decks. And at the moment I’m putting some dampening in some neoprene uh some neoprene sheets. So sticking them in. So obviously when the where the RX3 is going to go. So I’m putting some neoprene sheets if you can see those just on there. So up to this line here. So we’re going to neoprene all that just to give it a bit of bit of shock absorbing for when I’m going over them bumps and this is rattling all over the place. We don’t want the We don’t want the vibrations going up into the RX3. So, yes. So, we’re just doing that. Uh, so that’ll be the next probably next 20 minutes, half an hour job just getting all that, cutting this down to size, and then we’ll get that back on when it’s all done. But yes, it’s a very, very, very hot day. I’m sweating, and I can’t wait for a point, to be honest. [Music] [Music] Now, this is where it gets tricky because 50 mil. 50 mil. So that’s 50 mil. [Music] A jeez. Everything is so hot. Right. Done something wrong here. That’s weird. I tell you what, it doesn’t have to be exact. It’s only inside the bike anyway. Go with that. So, let’s get cutting. Oh, look at that. That’s the first time in absolutely ages my phone needs to cool down. I’m expecting a call as well. So, I need to go and put my phone inside. Right, let’s get this bit on. There we go. Like I say, it doesn’t have to be exact. It just needs to provide a good coverage. [Music] be cool. Let’s go. Let’s go. Let’s go. You bastard. Right. I’m putting that inside. You I love how an iPhone says that temperature thing when it gets too hot, but then it will still let you make an emergency call, which is good. It’s a good thing obviously, but how is it still making you letting you make an emergency call? It won’t make let you make another call. It’s one of them things that I guess will probably never be answered. Either works or it doesn’t, you know, anyway. Anyway, right. Let’s get a bit glue on this. I should have really cleared the bike out before I did this, but you know, this is me talking about. Ah, yeah. Bike is so hot. So, now we just need to do the side bits. Okay. Right. [Music] Now to draw a straight line between those two and it should work. Should be the appropriate word. Woo! Now, will this work? We shall see. Should I get the right way? Okay. That’s the side that needs to be. Hold on a minute. Surely that works. That side. That’s Yeah, I’m learning. I’m I remember this from from school. Doing things that are the same. Each side doing it the same. Each side identical. So, if we do that, not sure you can see that on there, but hopefully you can. Let’s do if that will line up at all. Like I said, it doesn’t need to be totally exact, but I like to get it pretty much bang on. Right. Boom. So that’s done there. So for that side this one. Let’s put this on the bike. That provides good coverage. I hope you can actually hear me. It’s like it is quite quiet out here. So, should be all right. But now do the same for this one. And then one little bit left to do. Right. So, we put a layer of dampening of vibration dampener on each side. There we go. So, next thing to do is get this back on to there and level it all up. But I’ve got to give it 24 hours or so for the glue all to dry. And then tomorrow we’ll get that back on there, get some holes drilled through, and we are a step closer to finishing this thing off. Three weeks today. Three weeks today.
