Another great Trek Manchester shop ride in the books! We kept the pace steady (around 15mph / 24kph), regrouped on the climbs, and enjoyed the social side of cycling—coffee before the roll out, and plenty of laughs on the road. If you’re local, come join us on the next ride and be part of the Trek community 🚴♂️.

Anyway, welcome back to another video and today is a couple of good celebrations. As you can tell, I’m actually out riding. Um, today it’s 1 year since I become an ambassador for Tre Manchester, which is where I’m currently at. And also today, I’m going to be taking you guys out on the road with us on my first video shot ride. I’ve actually done a few now, but I’ve just been wanting to settle into the road, taking people out, keeping everyone together. And today I’m going to take you guys along with me. So we’ve currently got three people and there should be a few more turning up. If any of you do want to come down and join us on these rides, I’ve created a group over on Straa called Tre Bikes Manchester. Uh if you go and join in that all the rides I will be posting on there and then I also post it on my social media mainly on Instagram. And yeah, feel free to come and join us. It’s a social pace. We have a chilled time. There’s no daff stuff going on. We might have a dig on a few clims, but we always regroup at the top of the climbs. So, I’ll show you a few things what Dylan puts on for us on the rides. So, we have pastries, breakfast stuff. We got coffees, fruit, water, gels, chew, bars, Dylan. And yeah, it is just a real good vibe. And then when we get back, uh, depending on who’s around at the store, last time we had bacon sides, but it just depends on what’s going on. And today we got bacon again. He’s trying to make me get fat again. And I swear to God and cuz he does make a mean bacon sign. But yeah, if any of you do want to join us, Straa or on my Instagram and like I said, it’s chill vibe and we’ll be going on up till at least till December, January, February, March. I’m not too sure cuz in the UK obviously the weather’s really bad. So, it could possibly just be a group ride on Zift, but we’ll cover that in the future. thought, yeah, let’s wait for everyone to come and um we’ll get out on the road and we’re going to have a good time. And as well, some of you who’ve been watching my channel for a long time will know this face. Now, he’s had a few issues going on and I’m not going to tell you, but yeah, I won’t want to go through what he’s been through, but we have back on the channel. Hello, Lee. You’ll have seen him in loads of me old videos. So, yeah, I’ve finally managed to drag Lee out and um We’re not going to rip his legs off. We’re going to have a good time and e easing back into it. Anyway, yeah, I’m going to grab a coffee. I’ll be back with you soon. You’ve all done the shot rides before, haven’t you? No. Right. So, you’re all sandal, don’t you? Shouting clear when we’re at the lights and stuff. Yeah. You all got the roof. You know where we’re going. Yeah. So, if you get dropped back, if you’re going too fast, let us know. We’ll slow the pace down and let’s go out and have a a nice ride. That’s it. Sick. Well, we’re out on the ride. All week this week, the weather has been saying that it’s going to tip it down. Heavy rain. To be fair, it’s still showing it for this afternoon. Was supposed to be overcast this morning, but look at it. Got a bluebird. I’ll probably bite myself in the ass for saying this, but or doing it, should I say, but I uh I’ve left my my Gautex jacket at the shop. I just can’t be bothered with uh being absolutely sweltering. [Applause] [Music] Baby, baby. [Music] So, a year of being an ambassador and to say I’ve enjoyed it is an understatement. I get to ride a great bike. I’ve been given some amazing products to review. Although I have spent quite a bit of money, great people I’ve met, but I think the best thing I’ve enjoyed more than anything, and I was nervous at first of doing one was putting these root rides together. And the fact that I get to come and meet some of you guys who want to come and join me is a it’s a win-win. I love it. Super excited for the next 12 months if they want to keep me. and uh yeah, doing more things. I’ve got some plans for over the winter period for rides which I’ll probably share over on Instagram. So, if you want to come and follow me, there’ll be a link down below and also in the about page. Uh but yeah, I’ll share that on that post. Baby, tell me. [Music] So, we just got to the top of the first uh it’s not a climb. It’s just a slight in increase incline. It’s a good one for actually pushing yourself. So, we’re allowed to have a push on it now. Uh but yeah, 12 months of running this weapon and honestly to say I love it, unbelievable. There’s there’s possibly a new bike in the future, but all honesty, I love this one too much to let it go. Um then again there’s an SLR purple phase which just looks absolutely beautiful and you can get it with Ultegra and Shramm Rival uh not Rival Force Sh force which that’s the one that uh really intrigues me. Uh but anyway that’s for a future video that but this bike is absolutely stunning. How’d you find that? Yeah, good dig. Yeah, like crap at those false flats. But it’s good fun. It’s good fun. Controlling the breathing, controlling the heart rate, trying not to go too far into the red too early. And yeah, just going to keep it going. Totally quite pleased with that. Yeah, Matt. Yeah. How do you find that? Yeah, fine. Every hill you do, you find fine. I’m going to take you some more. I’m absolute beast. I’m going to take him up to Webdom Bridge and I’m going to throw him up the hardest climbs I know up there. Yeah. We’re gonna get him over church slay and dog house slain in one ride and uh see if he says yeah. All right. Yeah. Yeah. Honestly, I think when Matt finishes a winter of turbo training, focused intervals, he’s going to be a machine. He’s going to be a serious machine. Yeah, it’s all right. Not bad. Better than last time. That’s the main goal. Yeah. You have a good push. Killer. Absolute killer. It just goes on forever in it. No, it’s good fun. He flew past me. You flew past me. It’s a good one for pushing yourself on. It’s a good one for testing length cuz it’s not too steep and you can hold an average a good average cad cadence. I’ll leave a link to this road. Uh if you live local, it’s the one that takes you up and over to do you know what? I’m crap with geography. Basically, that’s Pike over there and this road LS level. I’m sure someone in the comments will let me know what it’s called. But yeah, we’re going to get to the cafe and then the next still climb’s coming. The dada of the ride. It’s not a daddy round here, but it’s the daddy of the ride. Right, I’m going to go and gather people. [Music] When I look at the sun going down towards the sky, all I want is to be there with a new state of mind. A place I never heard of. I will walk like a no man. I’ve been stuck inside my house too long. Can’t stand being all alone. Wasting hours on my phone. Ready to go now. I won’t let fear hold me back. That’s the cafe stop done. Had a latte and a raspberry and pistachio cheesecake thing which was really nice. Actually, we had L cafe we stopped at for any of you who are interested. It was good laugh. We all sat there having a chat. Uh didn’t film anything there at all other than when I arrived cuz uh yeah, it was all just chatting and other people around and whatnot. But now it’s time to go and hit the climb of the day. I’m going to try and film as much as I can. Uh I’m going to give it a full gas effort up here now. Everyone around us. Camera off sprint. All caffeined up. all caffeine and caked up now. Ready to go and uh rip this head head off this hill. But yeah, it’s going to work. I know it’s going to work. The last fun fact, the last ride I did, I come up here, the last shot right, not the last shot ride I’ve done, the short time before that, we did this same route and I come up here and I hit it hard. Really hard. Like I deep into pain cave. I forgot to press start on the Garmin at the cafe stop cuz I paused it there to try and stop the beeping. But anyway, yeah, left. Let’s do this. I feel like before. [Music] So, we done the wrong climb. Stupid me loaded the wrong route. But anyway, we’re in a still in a beautiful place. Come on. Up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up. Dig, dig, dig, dig, dig, dig. Al, well done. Good stuff. [Applause] And the beauty with all climbs of getting up them is being presented with views like this. Are we going back downhill? [Music] Something better come my way before I freak the [ __ ] out. Okay, I know I got to start looking too. But oh my god, I think I’m doing it. Every minute it gets harder. Rank gets deeper, but soon enough I’m going to meet my reaper. Is this all we get a couple of deep regret? Baby, [Applause] this is what I’m talking about. A sign is beautiful. So, one person I didn’t come up to, Franco, who was with me on the last ride. Uh, how did you find the clowns? The climbs we’ve done today. It was hard, but it’s fine. Yeah. Yeah, he has. He’s done really well. Really, really well. And he’s uh so he’s been on flat pedals with trainers and he’s decided he’s by the time this video is released, they’ll be on them. He’s decided to get some proper shoes and some clip in pedals which leave some comments down below if you remember when you first went from clipped in from flats to clip in and if you had any accidents. I’ve been I told him before about mine which I’m not going to share on air but um yeah it will be a new experience and I’m excited and you’ll climb better as well. You really will because you get a bit of an effect as you pull up as well. So yeah, it is. Maybe when by the time the video is uploaded, I’ll be on the tour to France. You never know. Or the tour of Manchester. Exact. Anyway, I’m going to end the video there. Uh if you do want to come and join us on the shop rides, there’s on strive as I’ve already mentioned, and there’ll be a link down below. Feel free to come. It’s just a chilled out pace, nice ride, and uh yeah, good times, good vibes. I’m going to end the video there. Please consider pressing please consider pressing the subscribe button and I will see you in the next one. Take care guys. Bye you again. [Music]

Great video.
Chilled, friendly vibes, that's what group rides should be, looks like you're creating just that 👍
Great chilled rides. Looking forward to the next one mate
Nice one mate. Great to see encouraging all. Also – he'll love clipless – so much quicker and easier!
