Just finished building (self-built) a relatively affordable bike to rip around single track routes using spare parts and a second-hand SuperX frame. Just took it out for the first time today and rides like a dream. Although, Cannondale proprietary parts and asymmetric frame made me want to tear my hair out. Anyone else have experience working on older Cannondale models?

the asymmetric wheel made me go further back – i ended up with a 2016 superx that i could completely work on myself without any prop tools or fuss. I also ran a CAADX just prior and the right frame came up for sale so i jumped on that frame upgrade. It’s a good solid ride and we did Paris Roubaix together.
