Leverkusen’s 3-3 draw vs.10-man Bremen cost new coach Erik ten Hag his job. But with their 2024 title-winning squad torn apart in the off-season, the problems might run deeper than the dugout.
[Applause] Just embarrassing. It’s not our level. [Applause] I can’t see the positives. I’m very annoyed of course about the result, but especially the way we got to this result. Take the top and Isaac is away beyond the goalkeeper. Can he finish? Oh yes, he can. We’re playing like we had the manless. It’s on us. We have to look at ourselves individually and collectively and you know make amends because you know this isn’t the standards we want. This isn’t the standards the fans have for us and this isn’t our level. Chaos at the end. Leaning off the bar 33. This is not the way we can be successful. It’s the way.

Sell 6 star players and expect to perform. 😂
Ten Hag is an effing genius – being made millions for only 10 weeks work
What a laughing stock
😂…. At least they are quick to discover unlike Man U.
Ten Haag is a scam coach 😂😂😂
That's karma and he has to live with it. Some of us watched how he disgrace Ronaldo at United.
It's ridiculous, of course, what Leverkusen did: first they sold all their key players for a lot of money, then they spent a lot of money on a coach to turn things around, and then after two matches they sacked the expensive coach… You can't expect a coach to make something decent out of such a mess.
