I know this new model is more of a road bike but I’ve read it’s capable on light gravel as well which is perfect for me. However I’m torn between the 2 available options because of the listed weight. There seems to be nearly 2 lbs difference which I don’t see how. The 2 bikes have the same frame and identical finishing kits so it only comes down to groupset and wheelset.

Wheelsets are around half a pound difference so does that mean Force groupset is around 1.5 lbs lighter than Rival?

I can’t figure it out either. Groupset should only change about 200 g, maybe a little more with a carbon crank, but I can’t see where the rest of that weight difference is coming from.
