First bike in 30 years

Picked up a Merida Silex 400 yesterday from my local shop, spent some time today getting used to riding and figuring out the gears.

Starting cycling as a new hobby and would love to eventually take this bike on some serious adventures. Before then, I feel have a lot to learn and a lot of strength / stamina building to worn on.

By far the best bike I have ever sat on. I rode a bmx as a kid but only casually / around my residential area.
