Lovely day out, being a tourist in Newcastle exploring the cycle routes (which there were many!) Seeing the views and enjoying the river. Would recommend, we want to go back to cycle the bits we missed. #cyclingadventure #cycletourism
Good morning. So today uh we’re adventure is going to be in Newcastle. We’re staying near Newcastle. We’re going to cycle along uh National Cycle Network along the time and we’re Yeah. And we’re going to go into Newcastle. All right. [Music] We’ll do more when we stop. [Music] And this is still following the river going over the bridge. [Music] [Music] Train. Yeah. the only channeling a zebra today with her black and white stripes. And um she’s regretting she never brought her shorts. I think it’s it’s neither hot nor cold. It’s 17°. It’s just right. Nice breeze to keep you cool. At the moment, we’re going downhill. which we love. There’s a bench there. You all right? [Music] like snow. [Music] [Music] Yeah. [Music] I suppose it’s similar to London. You know, London’s got a big river, so many bridges that go over it. [Music] Somebody do that. Keep an eye on the bike as well. So yeah, the lane on the right for bikes and walk and then lane left is for walkers only. Cool. [Music] [Music] [Music] So, here we are in Newcastle and we’re checking out the trails and so far they’ve been wonderful. Absolutely brilliant. It’s called Central Arcade. Stunning architecture. So Leon had to come in and have a nose. How beautiful is it? Yeah, it’s amazing. Do you like this? It’s your cup of tea, is it? It’s just so sad that they’re all empty. Yeah, there’s a lot of them are empty, aren’t they? It’s just the actual um stonework is incredible. It really is. Tiles. Yeah, tiles. We have some tile work down in it. God and then all the mosaic on the floor. Very nice. Lovely. There’s the train. [Music] Heat up here. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Very pretty. And the sun’s out. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music]

Thanks for coming ..hope you enjoyed it …I noticed you finished where you started 👍..we are a bit spoilt for off road cycling …you could have turned onto the the derwent walk at the start of your ride and continued up a reclaimed railway line for 25 Mile to Stanhope ..going over some lovely viaducts and beautiful scenery…a gentle gradient going there and a lovely easy return … also the recently completed coastline ride from Tynemouth to st Mary’s is a terrific ride …👍
Love your videos, always looking out for the next one. Take care both.
