Just bought my first jersey, what’s the right fit supposed to be? Should it really hug your body, or be a little loose?
Castelli in XL (A little Flappy) or POC in L (Super tight, and a little bit short)
Castelli quality is super good btw.

Castelli is huge, you could fit 2 people in there—I’d return as it will do you no good in the wind. POC is fine and short could be just a race cut—racing jerseys tend to be quite short on the front side.
No wrinkles. If I don’t feel slightly self conscious while trying on shirts it’s too big.
The Castelli is too loose on the torso, but it looks great on the shoulders, so going down to L might be too tight on the shoulders. Your best bet might be to take the XL to your tailor to have the sides taken in a bit for perfect fit; not an expensive alteration, maybe $20. POC is race fit but fits well (although for me, I don’t like how front is cut so short).
Hug your body. The POC length is fine, it’s meant for the hunched cycling position not for standing up straight

Own the aero…with a body like yours tight always looks right.
