  1. IIRC thats the lower end of manitou forks. If you already have an airfork i doubt it will be a worthwhile upgrade

  2. Never seen a Manitou fork that didn’t make me go “huh, this is a piece of shit.”

    I just looked on Jenson and in the discount section they have brand new RockShox air forks (gold 35, reckon, etc.) for literally $95-110 so I don’t think it would be a good idea to buy the one in your post for $95 even if it were new.

    Spend an extra $100 and they have fox 34s for around $200. Go with the fox or rs option and you could even get better internals if you feel like it down the road.

    If you’re not equipped for suspension service you’re seriously rolling the dice when buying used forks/shocks. Get something with a warranty, even the rs gold 35 with an open bath damper would be a huge upgrade over your suntour and this Manitou.
