Help with chain "clicking" on to cassette. I've done a deep clean of both cassette and chain (all links move freely), I've reinstalled the drivetrain and torqued per Sram's specs. Chain is the proper length. It shifts like it should and does not have any ghost shifting or skipping. It just has this clicking sound when either going on to the cassette. It happens equally across the majority of the lower gears.
Micro-adjust can solve a specific tooth/link clicking but the clicking will still happen elsewhere on the cassette. There is no pattern or consistency to the clicking, just happens sporadically. It’s very audible while riding.
500 miles on the drivetrain with no bashing of the derailleur (that I'm aware of). This just started happening about 75 miles ago.
I’ve purchased a new chain and the same issue occurred.
Any ideas?
( Don’t mind the filthy drivetrain, I just got back from a ride. The clicking still happens when the drivetrain is clean)
