I really love my Gravelbike! When I bought it in a good used condition in 2020 I was skeptical about the big marketing around the entire sector. It can’t be that good in so many ways. Spoiler: it is!
I’ve been riding to work since 5 days a week in every weather, snow and heat. The Schwalbe GOne Tires kept their promises through all seasons. I love the flexibility. The Ortlieb Quickrack and the SKS Raceblades can convert a performance Bike into an Bikepacking Machine that runs solidly through all terrains.
It needs so little maintenance. A bit of oil here, a bit of washing and greasing here and it comes handy so tagten some stews once in a while. I can go on for hours, but the thought shines through I think.
It’s a 2018 Bianchi Impulso Allroad. I changed the original Wheelset to DT Swiss G1600 because of a dent in the (cheap) original wheelset. The rest of the components run perfectly and precisely for the last 8 years.
