  1. It’s one of the cheapest parts of bikepacking gear. I don’t know why people try to print it. (And I 3D print myself.)

    But to answer your question: You risk damaging your fork threads with the force applied to too few windings. There are guidelines for that, maybe you can find something online. But bike forks are different to industrial machinery metal parts as well, less robust I would guess. Honestly I wouldn’t risk it and just get longer screws. Better to spend 3€ than to replace the fork.
