My Dutchie served with 3rd SF in Afghanistan and Iraq. He was wounded in action on a mission in Afghanistan. After recovering from his wound he returned to Afghanistan for his second tour. After his second Afghanistan tour he was retired. As you may know, many retired Military K9s are sometimes provided to law enforcement agencies. I was lucky to have teamed up with him. This Dutch Shepherd was special. Silent and deadly. Outstanding working dog.

Impressive dogs. If i were younger and fitter id love to adopt a retired one. Ive got a small dog and even he is almost too much for me, being disabled. Owners have to be aware of their limitations.

These dogs are amazing. However no. They are not stable compared to mal. The reality is that's why they are not used as much. I am a retired military handler.
