We are here in Lensahhide for the World Cup. I love this one. Super fun. Cool venue. Oh, and we’ve got some new BK Sport. We’re going to tease that this week. It’s dropping next week. I think it’s Friday the 27th. I’ll check on bkport.co.uk. But we’re going for track walk today and it’s going to be a good one. Who’s this little rascal? Did you go to the pits? Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Dry my shoes the whole way here on the back of the two rack. It’s some mode of transport all week. Ebikes backwards and forwards. So keen. Yeah, dude. We’re on the commute. Okay, let’s go. What a spot. This is the event village here in Lima Haidider. Yo yo birthday boy checking out the telescopic posts. Bikes getting serviced as always. And we’re going trail walking. What a star view. This place is actually so cool. What an insane start view. Enter a little techy bike park/ rock garden they built. What’s that? I’m thinking just left of Pinky. Yeah. And then into the outside in the just on that V there. Man made rock on bike park section. Yeah. Right. I’ve got these new walking poles. Remy borrowed one and he’s already lost it. We’re at the top of the track, but he’s gone to find it hopefully. Give us a smile. Squad. That’s a bit of you there. Yeah, dude. You do. This is a hell slapper. tight turn out of that. And then we’ve got a double option where Janina is. So you got round a burm or turn off gravel lip. Pretty chill. Just jump to death rocks and off we go. Right. Then after that we’re saying left. That’s a big compression. And your exit speed here is important cuz quite a long little straight after this straight away. Yeah, little Yeah, double double get hit. Cross first road in. We got a super tight left here. Take a little off camera a bit. I think there’s going to be one main route maybe down through there. Yeah, maybe. Yay. It’s kind of one benched in line so far is what we can see. So long. Back in the day. This is so off camber and lines everywhere. It looks like we got one main route through there. Now there’s a huge stump triple on the top. But I think you’re just charging main dewaiting on all the roots and then coming into the turn at the bottom. Or you can go to the wide and then cut in. You can go there, then cut him where he’s walking. Yeah, that’s kind of what Yeah. Or just cut all the way in. It’s cool they built up this cuz this used to be a tricky turn then gap out. Yeah. I I always go to it. We can see loads. We’ll see. Good pad through there. There’s a big high here, but there’s debris. little one going that way. This used to be savage. Next, still it’s going to be Yeah, you’re just going to be in there. Don’t know. As long as you get to there. I like the pad. Yeah. I don’t even I haven’t even No, dude. You basically carry so much exit out here. So, you want to be wide. High end’s the best, better than low, but then it’s hard to stay high. Roots. There is a mega inside down there. It’s a tough call cuz we basically all just want maximum exit speed and to get here pretty safely. Out of that. And then big straight. Who’s this? all the way out. Yeah. And then hopefully come next to this rock on the exit. Into the bike park, guys. Scooting and then into the bike park. So yeah, even though the tech is important, this is where you’re going to make so much time on these long bike park sections. Step down probably I would say is about the finish the fastest part of the track. You’re always trying to stay pretty low on this. This jump is actually quite fun. Little back brake tap. It was like 40 seconds off that bridge jump. They built this up loads. I say we’ll try and come inside of the smallest part of the lip into what again normally harden the brakes in this section. It gets quite slippery in some roots way grab than usual but you know they sort of get dicey. just below through hit the corner or up stump and then gap right gap across. Yeah, cuz you can just bomb in turn turn or you can maybe even bomb it in and just turn and I don’t hate the turn right now. E down through here just right of J and then up on that high straight up on the high. You think you’d be fighting a bit? And this like I said mid you pump backside this and get your speed back. Yeah, this I was one of the first. This triple used to come around here, couple deep breaths, you start this little rock triple. So many It still looks kind of now [Music] just hop little flat guy and land down there. All right, here into the Conti Tire Speed section. You got this kind of tombstone on the right where you can gap or just pin down here. Yeah. Now we’re probably all going missing that. Oh, you still could. But yeah, sharkies taped off. Really cool feature. But we’re just going to meet through. What the There. So, we can probably still hop that and then practice few fat whips on the BK jump. And then when you’re racing, you got to go after this guy. The landing is so steep when you’re coming racing off this for a couple whips. She’s pretty fun into the highway. Some huge bowl section straight to the mid. Yeah. Out to that. And then yeah, get up to here from that. Yeah, I like the tree into the next techy bit. Yeah, I would try and be over to where Jordan’s feet are. And then down to the bottom tree. Yeah. Checking off a bit through here. We’ve got a cheese. And then through here. Out on the Py’s plank to roll off it. Might need to cut those. Same as always. Same as always. Into I like this. They made this a huge back in the day. These are the dustiest, sketchiest things. Huge bam back in our day. Yeah, dude. Back in was so hard 20 years ago when we were here. And then we’ve got super high ledge or a B. Wow. Interesting. Cuz we go around here and then we’ve got Yeah. At the minute I way prefer like dropping off that into the high. and into the woods. Fresh little section of dirt. We got the high low into the shoot. The shoot. So far, I think two years ago, I came high in the middle. Yeah. Always looks gnarly. We got inside, front high, a mid, and a wide. Got some steeps here, dude. Got some Oh, nice hood. Is that the rers’s hood? It’s a rude buy at the BK Sport. Yeah. Nice, Ro. Nice hood. Thanks, boy. I don’t know. Through here. It’ll hop across the track. Little tanky for your WBK. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. And then up high. into it slow stopping. Yeah. To look in here down to Yeah. We’re want to hit your hand on that stuff. Yeah. We’re at Pety’s plunge. Believe it or not, a lot of people don’t know. Conor Feran snapped his frame somewhere above this or off this on what could have been a World Cup winning run. So, this kind of ruined his day out. And it’s still quite a techy section. I’m either going to be trying and stay here, not hit this stump or through there over the roots. This is always kind of tricky. You got little highs, lows, setups into the whale tail. Whale tail. And I’ve definitely tried to cut that off. I could see it maybe becoming a thing though. Landing right next to that pole and coming through. Cool little skipper into one of the best towns in the World Cup circuit. It used to be epic slapper around here. Got a high low option charging down. I don’t know what was really good tight inside, but it looks like they might have made it a bit wider. So, we’ll see. She didn’t go through the next tree. It’s quite an awkward section. Yeah, you can see where the track used to go through the pad. Now, we got a tricky setup to just round the pad. The pad. Yeah. Yeah. So, it will be a pad hug into the little catch there and round. You can really check up and set You get over the roots before you go back. Through. Watch that little stump. That’ll be quite important. We Yeah, but generally Yeah. And then down through there. Got a track maintenance going on the Shimano section for all your braking and gear needs. Transmission on the new XTRS this week. Loving them. And when the cold weather, the new fluid works a lot better. Still in this section, pedaling, braking, doing it all over this. And you’ve got to be so good here at not breaking cuz you want to do a safety tap, but you just need to carry speed. And off triple into the bottom. And then we get to the gnarliest credit card slot of the season. Where is all the rocks in this entrance, though? Yeah. throw this and then somehow somehow you get it through there. You get your bike through here at like 20 mph and then gap off this next thing probably. But I think there could be a good insight this year. Yeah. Yeah. Down the rock path. I like this over the tree roots. You’re just taking so much track off. I’ve never done this line myself before. I think it’s time to change it up. I’m going to watch this clip back. Oh, then just straight to like just straight to like that big thing and then Thanks for coming. We’re not sure, but we think like there’s a savage gaper just down there. Yeah, everyone’s going to be on the bike kingdom up around the little wide and then so fast into that tricky little bike park turn. It’s not as steep as it should be for the speed. looks. So, you actually got to use some skill into the next one and have a big fly off. So, they used to do a little pool here or you could squash. But they built up some like sleeper log kind of things in the back. Oh, it does look nice though. You just got to squash down. Normally, we have a chicane here to kind of slow this down. And I think they might put one in later. Coming down the big shoot over this jump. It’s really cool. Super hard. judge speed into this and they got really tight left right for the last drop. All right. So, they unfortunately built some rollers, but it’s kind of cool coming out here and they’re slowing us down cuz the last drop at race speed when you’re pedaling and carrying a bit of speed in, you are going to go far. Easy lot of man. It’s a big plank. Wait. Yeah, that’s why I mean it’s normal this way. That is l Come here. That is quite be all right. Ripping in. That’s it. This how we wind down after a track walk. Hey, dude. Oh, yeah. Look at the muddy. Are you muddy enough? We’re just back. Your boy Tomos has just linked all the ebikes up for a full charge. Do any racers like a man made rock garden? I think they suck, but that’s as a rider and not a racer. I feel the same about a moto whoop section. Maybe cool for racing but I hate riding them
