The Pyrenees twisties and hairpins are no joke, especially for a beginner rider like me! On my BMW F750GS, I took on some epic (and terrifying) mountain roads across France and Spain for the very first time. This was my introduction to proper mountain twisties and let’s just say, the Pyrenees didn’t hold back.

In this video you’ll see:🌀 Beginner biker riding twisties & hairpins for the first time🏍️ Tackling Pyrenees mountain passes on a BMW F750GS😅 The nerves, the lessons, and the best moments from the ride🌄 Epic scenery & roads every biker dreams of

[Music] So before I get into my video and I show you the epic twisties that the Pyrenees roads have to offer, I just want to say a big thank you to Bike Shore because this video is sponsored by them. And we all know that peace of mind matters just as much as having petrol in the tank. And Bike Shaw are bike insurance specialists. So whether you’ve got a big bike, a small one, modified or a classic, I’ve got both of my bikes insured with Bike Shore. If you’re planning your next adventure, whether that’s to the Pyrenees or whether it’s your local Twisties or just your favorite bike cafe, make sure you check out Bike Shaw. Uh I’ll pop the link below in the description so you can check them out. And now without further ado, let’s get on to those crazy twisties. So, we’re heading from France into Spain today. Um, and we’re hitting some serious hair pins in the mountains. So, bit nervous. Hope everything goes okay. Um, yesterday was good. The hair pins went well. It was so hot. Like 40°. So, today slow and steady wins the race. We’ll see how we get on. Zoom past me like a little Speedy Gonzalez. Who is she? [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. Yes, Georgie. Forever been tackling. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. [Music] Hey. Hey. Hey. [Music] So, we have just been on the best road. We’re settling into the twisties now, and I feel like I’m finding my groove. What did you think of the road? So good. So good. So flowy. Yeah. So gangster. We almost went on a different road. And then we turned around. We saw it on the sat and we’re like, we’re going to do this. Get a drink now and then crack on to our hotel. See you. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat [Applause] up here. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] So, this is our final day of riding and dare I say, I’m actually really excited to be in the search for some epic twisties today. We’ve seen some on the map. So, we’re going to head out, see what they’re like. Um, I feel like I’m miles away from when I started. Uh, we’ve done twisties on gravel, single track, two-way roads, we’ve done it in the rain, in the heat, and just getting out there and practicing, doing it every day, throwing myself into the deep end. Um, I definitely think I’ve improved, rebuilt my confidence. Um, I mean, I wouldn’t have been looking forward to it before. I’ve been looking on the map and terrifying myself at what they look like zooming in street view just to see if I can handle it. Um, so I can’t believe the turnaround in just a few days, but fingers crossed it continues and I continue to improve cuz everyday is a learning day. [Music] [Music] [Music] Hey, heat. Hey. [Music] [Music] So, how did you find the twisties? Oh my god, look at that. That happened. I’m absolutely buzzing. You did that. You did it. And you are such a self-doubter and you smashed it. I knew you would. Just look at all this. Georgie’s got a new title. Queen of the hairpins.

  1. Well done Georgie, be proud of yourself.
Take a look back to May this year when you sat at the bottom of Tan Hill refusing to ride up it.
What a difference from then to what you've just achieved.
I'm really pleased for you 😊

What a fantastic video of all 3 of you, very enjoyable to watch.
