Yes I agree slammed and negative angle stems look great. Thin saddle and thin bars, high saddle and low bars, yeah these look sleek. But lately, I feel I want my bike to be more bluelug than fixiekarl… flipped stem + risers + front rack doesnt look too bad. I feel it has the commuter bike look. More importantly, it's more comfortable.
I'm even considering higher risers but I can't find something suitable locally. Something like the velo orange hot bar, or these blb risers but they're either too expensive or out of stock. Maybe in future I'll cave in and buy these from blue lug
one thing to add about my build – I used the steerer tube extender from velobike. It works fine so far

Rockin the comfy grips too. I see form and function. Sick build
It’s ok because you’re only using half of your rear track nut 😅
You only ever get older.
Comfort is king. Ignore the haters. Ergo grips are dope too!
Do whatever makes you enjoy riding more!

Better to be comfortable than look cool
Bro I’m flipping mine and going from 2 inches risers to 4.5 inch bmx risers. It’s ok to adapt as long as you are enjoying the ride 🤙
