[Music] the community in general is real diverse and separated there’s not really that many events that go on in the world that have fast bike riding and trick riding all in the same day at the same time on one course Red Bull get some of the biggest name sponsors together and oh you have the premier fixed gear event in the world this year a street artist named above painted the ramps for Red Bull Riding style you know it brings the ramps to life it gives the ramps more of a three-dimensional [Music] Feel Never know who’s going to win people are elbowing bumping rubbing you know sometimes both Riders go down in the race it’s just like it’s crazy it’s exciting man when the freestyle Riders come in play other Riders see what that Riders doing it makes them want to achieve more and just push for the next best thing it keeps getting better and better every year we bring out more Spectators uh more Riders the level of riding keeps going up and up and it’s just going to keep going that way oh my my gosh the ramps this year were awesome like it was less obvious as far as what the hits were and people were just out there figuring it out everyone had different lines it was great I’m all ready here for next year to roll back around this is this is the mecca for fixed gear riding this is the event of the year that everybody works for so I’m just ready for it to come back around again

  1. I can't believe fixed gear freestyle has became its own thing. I mean it's the same tricks as in bmx or mtb, but harder, because the gear is fixed. And lot of those bikes looks a lot like giant bmx bikes, with pegs, crossbars, and beefy tires. So I don't get the point. Or maybe that is the point, that lot of poeple don't get it? Is this really bmx for hipsters?

  2. I love how everybody judges FGFS based on one park competition video, which doesn't even show half of the tricks that went down. Watch a street edit from some of these guys or an edit where they actually put in work to land some tricks instead of blindly calling all these guys hipsters who aren't good at BMX, which many of them aren't, because they ride a completely different kind of bike. The amount of idiocy in the comments is insane.

  3. Everybody that says Fixed Gear is stupid everybody enjoys different things and is not a copy of BMX because people were doing tricks on fixes because fixes were the first bikes ever,I used to ride BMX but now I ride just FGFS and dirt jumpers I think if FGFS is one of the harder freestyle sports out there please subscribe to my channel thank you
