So basically, the threads are stripped so the crank remover tool pushes out the crank. Can I save this bottom bracket…? I have an extra, but I’d hate to have to throw this one away

Try whacking (tapping) the crank from the other side with a mallet or a hammer overa block of wood.
Dead blow hammer for the win. Penetrating oil first.
This spindle honestly looks like it’s in pretty rough shape, not really worth saving. Maybe the cup and bearings are still good, but the lockring also looks mis-threaded from this perspective.
How are all the raceways?
