I don’t think if I remember correctly that just locks the derailleur so you can get your back tire on.

Most likely, not sure the brand but I doubt they’ll sell such an internal and integral piece that doesn’t look user serviceable like a cage, spring or pulley would be.

If that’s a Sram derailleur that looks like the cage lock.Thats used to lock the cage into a position that makes it easier to remove and install the wheel.
If it is the cage lock your derailleur might still function fine. It will just be harder to remove or install the wheel.

Im super curious how you managed to break it off like that with out destroying the whole detrailer.
