18 cyclists from Dublin set out to conquer the legendary climbs of the French Alps on a fully supported 3-day cycling in France tour.

From the brutal Col du Glandon to the twisting Lacets de Montvernier, the riders climbed the Col du Mollard and the mighty Col de la Croix de Fer before taking on the world-famous 21 bends of Alpe d’Huez. Long known as one of the most iconic Tour de France climbs, it’s a true highlight of French Alps cycling and a bucket-list goal for riders around the world.

The challenge didn’t stop there — the group pushed over the wild Col de Sarenne and finished on the spectacular Balcons d’Auris, proving that Alpe d’Huez was just a part of their cycling adventures.

Based in Alpe d’Huez, St Jean de Maurienne, and Le Bourg d’Oisans, this tour included bike hire, roadside picnics, and full support — all captured in this 5-minute highlight film.

If you’ve ever dreamed of tackling Alpe d’Huez, riding epic Tour de France climbs, or planning your own French Alps cycling trip, this video shows exactly what it feels like to take on the giants of the Alps.
