Hi friends! I purchased a giant talon 3 last year and have now decided to throw some upgrades on it.
My Plan is to upgrade the current drivetrain to a 1×10 Deore Groupset.
I am unsure what bottom bracket to purchase though.

Cartridge typically means is a threaded square taper bb. Your bike has an bsa/English threaded bb shell, it’s the most common type. The actual bb you use will depend on the cranks, so pick which cranks you want then get the recommended bb.
As an example, if you get a Shimano hollowtex 2 crank, then get a Shimano English threaded hollowtec2 bb.
