After and before. Bought the bike from a local co-op 'as-is'. Most parts I found were from that co-op or a local swap meet. Only totally new parts are the tires, rear derailleur and shifter, and obviously cables & housing. I'm sure to add more shiny parts on in the future, like pedals. Those ugly plastic ones work for now.
Only been on a short spin around the neighborhood but it rides like a dream already. Will be excellent doing double-duty as an errand and trail machine.
