Hi all, I was hoping for some recs on what the source of this squeak could be. My first thought is the bottom bracket but honestly 0 clue. I don’t think it’s the pedals however I had a pair of 2 bolt SPD cleats on before and it squealed then. Doesn’t squeak when I turn the cranks without me on it, only while riding

Oil your chain
So the odd thing here is that the sound is disconnected from your pedal stroke. It doesn’t happen at the same point in your revolution. Does it still squeak when you don’t pedal? You said it doesn’t make that noise without you on it, so weight has to do with it. I’d check out the wheels. See if anything is being compressed onto the rim or brakes, even check the axels.
I had something weird on my bottom bracket that yours reminded me of. I had it in the shop a couple of times and they suggested the BB as a possibility but it didn’t seem to be causing any problem. Eventually changed the BB and noise went – it had been making the noise from new.
