after waking up on the beach we made it to the ferry to salamis and the fery ride was about 7 minutes but never too short for a nap we soon found a beach that was inviting enough for a little cool down and then crossed the island to make it down towards the port on the other side of the island and take the fery back to the Greek mainland and that’s when we rode the last bit towards Athens and reaching Athens is a big milestone in our trip having made it all the way from home through all those mountains and ups and downs is really bit surreal to us and now that we are here we have quite a few things to organize and for example we decided to treat our bikes to a professional wash after having carried us so far and I’m pretty sure they came out cleaner than us aside from that we finally found a store to stock up on proper equipment and of course we also enjoyed the perks of being in a big city and in the end I just wanted to let you know that for family reasons we are taking a few days off the bike and we hope to be back in about a week after
