I'm torn – as a Brit, I think Pidcock is utterly amazing. He can switch disciplanes in a heartbeat, his stamina and technical ability are unreal. But I also love what Nino has achieved in his career. So for me, Nino or Pidcock winning is all I ever want to see in XC. #WinWin?

Shocking that more MTB riders don'y embrace road racing, it's clearly a path to higher performance in their own discipline, look at Pidcock and MVDP schooling MTB-only specialists in their own racing type.
I want to remember that EVERY top UCI road cyclist is not comparable with top riders in other disciplines. If the best 50 top UCI road cyclist compete in the other disciplines, there is no race for the main cyclist. There are levels, stop saying that a top UCI road cyclist is special for win in this races.
