I’m hiking alone in the largest bear population in Europe welcome to Romania I have no bear spray I have no knife and I have no intention of being eaten for defense I have a bag of peanut M M’s our journal with a ballpoint pen and this awesome view I’ll never forget one time what a zookeeper friend of mine told me with regards to Bears if it’s black attack if it’s brown lay down and if it’s white good night and let me just say this is definitely not when I would want a bear attack to occur while climbing a chain on a mountain at the second highest peak in Romania ladies and gentlemen can you believe and I’ve met some Romanian Backpackers with an awesome crepe business

The chances of being attacked or even seeing a bear in this region, is very, very very very rare. So this video is nowhere as 'risky' as the video maker may want you to think it is.

Taking food of any kind into bear country is asking for trouble. The zoo keeper may never have encountered a bear in the wild. Stay safe.
Of course, the rhyme is rendered completely irrelevant in the event of accidentally happening upon a sow and her cubs. If you unwittingly happen to come between them or venture too close to the cubs…goodnight, no matter what color of bear you encounter.
I hope you don’t get eaten but I do wish you get bluff charged by a bear so you can understand the danger you are putting you’re self in. You will die if a bear chooses to kill you it does not matter if you “don’t intend on getting eaten

We go hiking in winter, because we know bears hibernate then. And we don't have polar bears here yet.

In Romania bears are very polite. They don't eat tursits! They love only local meat.
This is how the bears get shot… People dont get proper equipment to defend themselves, when they injured they kill the bear as a last resort
