Just low key impulse ordered an Ultegra Ultimate not a month after finishing the (ridiculous over)build of my Wabi fixed gear.
Anyway this will be my first modern road bike. I’ve been through my share of older steel, aluminum and titanium so I’m def excited to put some miles down on fancy new plastic haha. Not sure how I feel about electronic shifting, it kinda makes the old school cyclist in me a bit squeamish, but it seems like thats the way the industry is going.
Went with the XL. I’m 6’ but all leg. Will likely nerd a short stem-bar-thingy.
Anyway looking forward to join the Canyon club… see yall soon when this thing arrives!

IMHO at 6’ the XL is way too big, especially with a short torso/long legs. I’d probably go with M, maybe you could make L work (probably still very big). The ultimate is a pretty stretched racing bike, so a short torso might even be a reason to size down. While you can adjust the seatheight, doing the same with the handlebar in the era of one-piece-cockpits is pretty costly and labour intensive.
Yeah I’m 6’2 and my L was too big for me. Otherwise this is a killer order you’ll love an Ultimate!! Congrats.
