And I’m never going back to chain oil. I should have waxed ages ago. I mean just look at how shiny my drivetrain is after a simple rinse. Rode through 80km with rain, muddy forest paths, and wet roads today. Normally my chain would be black and everything caked in silt, dirt and other road muck. For reference there’s a picture of my bike when I got home.

wax is great. I’m on the super secret drip not hot wax but it’s miles better than any oil-based
make sure to reapply whatever wax you use asap otherwise it will develop surface rust!
