The Balaton Park Circuit is a new track that’s been opened in Hungary. And could potentially hold an F1 race in the future if they apply for a Grade 1 license. Would you like to see F1 race here instead of the hungaroring?

Hungary has a brand new racetrack the balerton block circuit is open just south of the capital city of Budapest and has been built to what they believe is FIA grade 1 standard which means it could potentially host F1 races in the future however they have only applied for a grade 2 license for now former F1 driver Giancarlo fischikella was amongst the first to try out the new track and was impressed saying it’s a track that flows nicely giving you a great race in feeling the first quarter and the end of the back straight are prime spots for overtakes given the layout would you rather F1 races here or the traditional hungaro ring let us know in the comments

  1. Turns 1-4 look interesting but hopefully benefits from elevation change (which it looks like it doesnt), Turns 5-10 are exactly the same as the old abu dhabi layout but with maybe a bit sharper angles. That's my first point of scepticism, 12 – 16 look chaotic and not in a good way, doesnt look like you could generate enough speed to go for an overtake before your having to brake for a pretty harsh corner, maybe would again benefit from elevation changes all in all, if this was Tilke designed or if not its very tilke esk, and i just think his designs now sap the energy from a good race track and make it about high budget facilities and scenery at the cost of the layout of the track

  2. Leave it for MotoGP. Leave the f1 cars and their ability to ruin a track for MotoGP because the downforce leaves bumps on the circuit at the extremely fit for purpose hungaroring.

  3. We could make them rotational with the Hungaroring, one year this, one year that. It's pretty flat tho, I'd like to see some banking in turn 10 or 4. I like it
