lol yes it looks kinda goofy and I prob shouldn't even be riding, especially since the reason I had surgery was a bike accident which I'll talk about in a second.. but what yall think?? lol this is a temporary solution and plan on getting some high rose bars but a little more low profile. I had some bull horns on it earlier but couldn't ride comfortably because had to bend to much but these bars are perfect lol.
anyway about the bike accident.. so it was my first time commuting to work and on the way home I took a busy road, was trying to figure out how to cross the street cause that's was a big grass median in the middle thats almost like a ditch. So I'm riding on the side walk, on my mountain bike (this bike had a flat) there's a big chuck of side walk thats all torn up by tree roots. I seen it last second caught a tiny bit of air. my front wheel gets kicked to the side and gets wedged between a crack and I flip over the handle bars landing on the side of my head and fracturing my skull and my klavical(collar bone) in 3 spots and a tiny peice even poked through my skin…
went to urgent care but I had what they considered "poly truma" so had to take an ambulance to a trauma hospital an hour away..was one of the worst things I've ever had to go through pain wise and the hospital was over crowded and disgusting.. ended up having too get a bunch of hardware put in to hold my bones in place, but I'm thankful it wasn't worse.
so be causios everyone, shit happens so fast. I got into riding bikes cause I was in a bad car accident at the beginning of the year and have been trying to recover from that financially, and also struggling with some ptsd as a result and riding just puts my mind at peace,

Hell yeah. Get well soon mate
Are you riding brakeless with no foot retention?Â
I care about your safety.
This is an unsafe vehicle. I ride brakeless and wouldn’t touch this thing if you paid me to ride it. There is no foot retention so its just a meatgrinder with extra steps.
Nice! How you stop?
