Hello all! I just wanted to show yall my vintage bicycle shaped object. This is a 1994 Roadmaster MTB from 1994. I found it at a Goodwill yesterday and it was absolutely mint. It looks to have been sitting in a garage its whole life. The tires (which looked almost unused) were dry rotted but other than that everything else was absolutely mint. I couldn’t leave it there to rot so I bought it. I dusted and cleaned it, lubed it and changed out the tubes and tires. She rides well and smooth, it has Shimano SIS components and the brakes look new. It’s basically a boat anchor, must weight at least 35 pounds.

Note: yes I know, these bikes are built by minimum wage workers with no bike mechanic experience, I understand that the components and build quality is low end. I understand there are better bike shop quality bikes out there for cheap. I own a few nice steel bikes. I bought this bike purely for the nostalgia factor.
