I have plans on building up an enduro bike since I'll more than likely end up swapping and upgrading parts if I were to buy an entire bike. These frames, one made in Perú by Marino and the other made in Chile by Majin Cycles. What are your thoughts? Are there any other builders out there that won't charge an arm and a leg that I should consider?

You could just buy a frame from a larger company and build that up? I don’t know if those frames are available where you are but otherwise there is no reason to stick with just latin American frame builders.

For the money, marino makes some truly impressive frames. I’ve owned one personally and can attest to this.

  3. yeah, I have 2 bikes from him. one is a hardtail and one is a full sus that’s not currently built(I messed up the measurements and don’t like it). I don’t know what the current turn around is but if I remember correctly it was around 2 months when ordered mine. if you are looking for a really high end presentation in welds and paint, your are not going to get that here. I would say 6 to 7 out of 10 at best but what you will get is a solid custom geo frame for a price that can’t be beat as far as I know. I have beat the shit out of my hardtail and it’s still running true. Hope that helps.
